Brooklyn based textile artist and designer Dana Haim is coming to Oakland for the first time to share how to make unique and colorful pom-poms! Students and DIY lovers will learn various techniques Dana uses in her work, such as setting up templates, marbling, speckling, colorblocking, and shape trimming, as well as explore different methods for stranding and hanging your creations into garlands, mobiles, or wall-hangings.
Dana has been featured in ABC Carpet and Home, BIRD NY, Stone Fox Bride, One Kings Lane, Spring, Sight Unseen, The New York Times, and more.
